The Cub Foods grocery store in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis unexpectedly closed over the weekend.
Its parent company, United Natural Foods, Inc. says it doesn’t know when the store will reopen. The store is located at 1104 Lagoon Ave.
A notice on the front door of the store said, “We have closed Club Uptown as it undergoes some needed repairs and other proactive measures.”
The notice said customers who use the grocery store’s pharmacy have had their prescriptions transferred to the 26th Avenue location.
A spokesperson for the company declined to comment further.
