You’ll likely notice dew points increasing Thursday to near 70 degrees in portions of southern Minnesota, which is getting pretty steamy.
Friday and Saturday will see the humid air really lock in across the state. Highs Friday will be near 90 for much of southern Minnesota with a heat index into the 90s.

Storms develop ahead of a cool front and upper level disturbance in northwestern Minnesota Friday afternoon. Those showers and storms will track east and south slowly into Friday evening and Friday night.
We’ll also have more storms likely popping up Saturday before the front finally clears us Saturday night. Neither day will be a total washout, however.

Behind the front, it’ll become cooler and less humid Sunday into Monday.
