Talking Volumes, a collaboration between MPR News and the Minnesota Star Tribune, returns for a landmark 26th season at the historic Fitzgerald Theater.

Hosted by award-winning MPR News journalist Kerri Miller (with special guest Catharine Richert hosting the final event), each evening offers in-depth conversations with an author about their latest books, their writing processes and the stories shaping our lives — and their narratives.

The season opens with political leader and bestselling author Stacey Abrams, whose newest book returns to her Avery Keene thriller series. 

In "Coded Justice," a suspicious death at a cutting-edge tech firm leads Avery into the morally murky world of AI-powered medicine. It’s a high-stakes legal and ethical tangle, with Abrams’s signature tension and insight.
