The season opens with Booker Prize–winning author Marlon James, whose new novel follows eight gay men in 1980s Kingston, Jamaica, as they rehearse for a play — and survive a brutal mob attack that changes everything. 

“The Disappearers” is a riveting, deeply human story of fear, rage and recovery, and an unflinching look at queer life in Jamaica during the 1980s and 1990s. 

Lucy Foley, ‘Murder at the Grand Alpine Hotel’

Lucy Foley, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of “The Guest List,” brings her favorite Agatha Christie creation, Miss Marple, to the glamorous, snowbound Grand Alpine Hotel high in the Swiss Alps.
