After some morning fog, Tuesday will be pleasant with partly cloudy skies and highs in the 70s. Above-normal temperatures and dry weather will continue into the weekend.
Warmer-than-normal and dry conditions persist
There’s a dense fog advisory through most of the morning across much of Minnesota, except the western portions of the state. Most fog should burn off by mid to late Tuesday morning.
It’ll be a pleasant Tuesday after morning fog burns off, giving way to partly cloudy skies and afternoon highs mostly in the 70s across the state.
We’ll likely see at least some patchy fog again overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning as light winds and mainly clear skies persist.
Highs Wednesday will be similar, in the 70s again for most of the state with partly cloudy skies.
Things will be warming a bit as we end the week. Highs by Friday could be near 80 degrees again with lots of sunshine right into the weekend.
The weather looks to remain dry into next week for these final days of September. On the forecast map below, you can see a big doughnut hole with no rainfall over the next seven days. We’ll also continue the warmer-than-normal temperatures across the region.
