A nice mix of sunshine, warmth, and breezy winds today ahead of a dry clipper system that moves through Sunday night.
Blustery and bright
Some bright sunshine is expected for our Sunday, with winds cranking up out of the south. Gusts between 30 and 40 mph will have no trouble helping Mother Nature take care of those fallen leaves.
Warmer temperatures on the way, climbing into the mid-50s for most areas, with even a few 60-degree readings possible across far western Minnesota.

Our first of several clipper systems slides southeast Sunday afternoon and evening, bringing a little bit of cloud cover but only a few stray sprinkles, mainly across western Wisconsin, and the arrowhead region of Minnesota.
Temperatures on Monday will stay mild, ranging from the upper 40s to mid-50s, with the stronger winds mainly confined to northern parts of the state.
Even with a more active upper-air pattern this week and several shortwaves passing through, temperatures will stay on the mild side as the colder air remains bottled up in Canada.
The majority of the work week should remain dry, as available moisture is limited. Each incoming system will be closely monitored for any changes.
