Year of 'roadschooling' gave Minnesota family front-row seat to cuts at national parks

In September 2024, Jen Goepfert, Travis Pedersen and daughters Aela and Eva set off on a yearlong adventure in an RV, visiting national parks and monuments. Through the national program Every Kid Outdoors, families of fourth graders get free admission to all national parks and federal lands.
