It’ll be warmer Tuesday and especially so by the end of the week. Clouds will decrease with more sun Wednesday and Thursday.
Temperatures trend upward the remainder of the week
Temperatures will jump back above normal Tuesday after a cold few days around the region. Afternoon highs will be in the 50s in southwest Minnesota with 30s lingering in the Arrowhead region.
A clipper system is exiting Minnesota Tuesday, allowing for decreasing clouds in central and southern Minnesota. Some rain and snow showers, as well as clouds, will linger in northeast Minnesota.
We’ll see more sunshine Wednesday and Thursday with similar temperatures, in the 50s for southern Minnesota with mostly 40s north.
Temperatures climb more for the end of the week. We could see 60 degrees again in southern Minnesota Friday and Saturday.
We may have a developing system bringing rain somewhere in the state for the weekend, too, but confidence is low in the forecast models right now.
