Snoop Dogg and the voices starring in Netflix’s hit movie “KPOP Demon Hunters” will star in the 2025 NFL Christmas Gameday halftime show for the Vikings’ matchup against the Detroit Lions.
The football game will be available to watch live on Netflix, starting at 3:30 p.m. Central. The Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Commanders will also be broadcast on the streaming service at noon, CST.
Headlined by Snoop Dogg, EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami — the voices behind the popular characters — will perform live during the halftime show. The show will also feature Grammy Award-winning country artist Lainey Wilson.
According to a statement from Netflix, additional surprise guests will also make appearances.
“You’ll have to wait until Christmas to see who else joins Uncle Snoop,” said Snoop Dogg in a press release. “But trust — it’s gonna be a holiday to remember.”
Netflix also released an announcement video narrated by legendary funk icon George Clinton, setting the tone for what promises to be one of the season’s most memorable live moments.
It’s the second holiday season that Netflix has hosted the NFL Christmas game. In its first year, Netflix says the two games had an average of 26.5 million viewers in the U.S., and 30 million globally, when the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Pittsburg Steelers 29-10, and the Baltimore Ravens beat the Houston Texans 31-2. The latter game also featured a halftime show performance featuring Beyoncé, where she performed music from her country album, “Cowboy Carter.”
