The Great Northern Climate Solutions Series
The Climate Solutions Series is back this Saturday at The Main Cinema in Minneapolis. There will be talks, movies, podcasts, and a climate action fair focused on protecting the planet and building a better world.
One of the morning sessions will feature MPR News editor Leah Lemm, who will discuss land reclamation efforts by tribal nations, Native-led organizations and partners. The conversation will provide a deep understanding of the impacts of returning lands to Indigenous people.
Also at the festival this weekend, Ayana Elizabeth Johnson will headline a keynote session centered on her book “What If We Get It Right? Visions of Climate Futures.” Johnson will discuss the importance of focusing on climate solutions to help build a more sustainable future.
