As the U.S. and Israeli strikes against Iran continue, more than 250 Minnesota National Guard personnel are in or near the Middle East on regularly scheduled deployments.

Guard officials said Monday that no members of the Minnesota National Guard have been injured in the recent attacks.

The Minnesota-based units with personnel deployed to the region are the:

“While their missions and duty locations vary, all are grateful for the strong support of those back home,” said Army Maj. Andrea Tsuchiya, state public affairs officer for the Guard.

, with about 70 soldiers from 65 communities across not just Minnesota — but also North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Michigan. 

“Our soldiers are prepared for and dedicated to this mission,” the battery’s commander, Army Capt. Dan Meyer, said at the time the unit deployed. “They bring with them a deep sense of duty and professionalism, strengthened by the support of their families and communities back home.”
