Freeze warnings, frost advisories Tuesday night but warmer days ahead

Many areas will see frosty temperatures Tuesday night with a hard freeze north and west. Wednesday will again be chilly before temperatures start to warm.
Frosty Tuesday night, chilly Wednesday before temps warm
Hopefully this is the last time we’re talking frost in southern Minnesota.
It will be a chilly overnight into Wednesday. Most of southern Minnesota outside the Twin Cities will be near the freezing mark with temperatures dipping into the 20s in northern Minnesota. Those readings are 10 to 13 degrees colder than normal.
Wednesday will be another chilly day with some sunshine to start, but once again clouds will fill in quickly by midday and afternoon. Highs will range from the low 50s to the low 40s.
The overall pattern will be pretty dry over the next seven days but we do have a couple minor disturbances that will deliver a few isolated to spotty showers Thursday and Saturday. Otherwise, temperatures are trending upward starting Thursday.
We should see highs in the low to mid-60s in southern Minnesota with highs near 70 by Friday.
The weekend looks seasonable with temperatures largely in the 60s for highs. Most forecast models bring 70s next week with potentially 80s by the end of next week.
