Going to Art-A-Whirl? You can help build a sculpture of a city with over 300 pounds of clay

The 2016 sculpture "Bridges" by artist Aldo Moroni, who died in 2020, is the inspiration for the community sculpture event at Art-A-Whirl. "The premise of it was: 'We should be building bridges and not walls,'" says Lisa Roy, studio manager for Aldo Moroni Studios. "So, the community sculpture that we're doing is kind of in the spirit of this. We want to bring the community together."
