House Speaker Lisa Demuth widened her narrow lead in a third round of voting for the Minnesota Republican Party’s endorsement for governor.

Demuth picked up 41.5 percent of the vote compared to businessman Kendall Qualls’ 35.8 percent and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s 22.1 percent. All three will move on to a fourth round of balloting.

The threshold to win the endorsement is 60 percent. Candidates are again expected to address delegates before the next vote Saturday afternoon.
