A grand jury has indicted 15 Minnesotans for conspiracy to impede or injure federal officers during Operation Metro Surge. Twelve of the defendants made their initial appearances at the St. Paul federal courthouse Tuesday, and two others had first appearances Wednesday.
MPR News host Clay Masters spoke with civil rights attorney and activist Nekima Levy Armstrong, who was present at the 12 defendants’ first appearance in court, about what she saw.
