Hoping to help Minnesota communities deal with the effects of the emerald ash borer, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is offering $1.7 million in grants focused on removing, treating or replacing infested trees and rebuilding a community’s tree canopy.
MPR News host Clay Masters spoke with Rachael Dvoracek, a community forestry project specialist for the Minnesota DNR, about the grants and who is eligible to apply.
