Minneapolis City Council approves Reginald Freeman as new fire chief

The Minneapolis City Council on July 30 approved the nomination of Reginald Freeman to serve as the next Chief of the Minneapolis Fire Department. Freeman holds a PhD in emergency and protective services and has previously led fire departments in Oakland, California, and Hartford, Connecticut.
