We’ll see a pleasant enough Friday ahead of increasing clouds and the next chance of showers late Friday into Saturday. Sunshine and drier air moves in for Sunday and Monday.
Some showers Friday night into Saturday but not likely significant
We’ll have a pleasant enough Friday with increasing clouds ahead of the next disturbance. Highs will be in the low to mid-80s across east central Minnesota with 70s north and in southwestern Minnesota, where clouds will thicken up earlier.
Far southern Minnesota will already see a few showers this morning and midday. We’ll gradually see those attempt to fill in more and make their way north and northeast by evening into the overnight Friday night.
Those showers will become more widely scattered or even just spotty and isolated during the day Friday.

If you’re looking for a good soaking, you’re likely to be disappointed. Only far southeastern Minnesota, where the rain is probably needed the least, stands to see an inch or more of rain. Most will see under one-quarter inch of any rainfall.
Highs Saturday will be near 80 degrees and it will be quite humid with dew points in the 60s and 70s with quite a bit of lingering cloud cover. We should see some peeks of sun at least though.
Sunday and Monday will be much more pleasant with sunshine returning and a drop in dew points and even a subtle drop in temperatures. Dew points will drop from the very humid low 70s Saturday into the 50s by late Sunday behind the cool front:
Highs both Sunday and Monday will be near 88-degrees in the Twin Cities with 70s for most of Minnesota.
Another chance of spotty showers and thunderstorms develops Tuesday. Otherwise, temperatures look to be near normal with highs in the low 80s south to mid 70s north into next week.
