Two days open, two records set.
The second day of the 2026 Minnesota State Fair set another attendance record with 204,065 fair-goers passing through the gates on Friday.
The previous record for the first Friday of the fair was 171,233, set in 2024.
With two sunny and comfortable weather days, the Great Minnesota Get-Together could be on pace to set an all-time high for attendance.
Often the second weekend of the fair brings the largest crowd numbers, with most days reaching beyond 200,000 attendees.
The fair runs through Sept. 7.
