Thursday at the Minnesota State Fair brings brief midday rain chances, some later day clouds and more high heat. 

The final days are counting down at the Minnesota State Fair. While the first few days were mild enough, just a little above average, daytime temperatures have been at 90 degrees since Monday. Thursday brings more of the same heat, this time with a little more humidity. 

We are wedged between a Hudson Bay, Canada, mid-level low and an Oklahoma-based mid-level low. That’s throwing almost daily shower chances to at least some part of Minnesota.

That shows itself on Thursday with scattered showers during the midday hours. 

Some of these storms will almost certainly skip around the State Fair, but some late morning or early afternoon storms are very possible. If any rain does fall, it will not do much to ease the 

Given the chances of rain and cloud cover, you might expect temperatures to cool. But that won’t be the case. We will still be closer to 90 degrees the next couple of days and it will remain humid.
