It’ll be cooler, but still nearly 10-degrees above normal Thursday. We’ll also see the return of sunshine today and Friday. The overall mild weather continues into the weekend.
Cooler but still mild Thursday into the weekend
While it will be cooler Thursday, it will still be above normal. Afternoon highs will range from near 60-degrees in southern Minnesota to near 50-degrees, north. Those readings are still almost 10-degrees warmer than normal for October 29.

We’ll also see sunshine today and most of Friday too. Far northern and far southern Minnesota will see a few more clouds at times. High clouds will start to increase Friday, filtering the sun out at times somewhat.

High temperatures will remain above normal into early next week. For the Twin Cities and most of southern Minnesota that means highs near 60-degrees or even into the mid 60s by Sunday.

There’s still the possibility of a few showers Halloween but I think most will stay dry most of the day. There will be more clouds around, but it will still be on the milder side.

We’re eying a potential storm system for early next week that could deliver soaking rains somewhere in the region. It may track through Minnesota or it may take a more southerly route through mostly Nebraska and Iowa.
