Democratic National Committee Chair Ken Martin rallied with Minnesota Democrats on Monday as they entered the final leg of campaigning ahead of Election Day.
Martin, the former chair of the Minnesota DFL Party, joined his successor in that role, Richard Carlbom, along with gubernatorial candidate Amy Klobuchar, her running mate Ben Schierer, Attorney General Keith Ellison, U.S. Senate candidate Peggy Flanagan, and several other legislative candidates and supporters at Boom Island Brewing in Minnetonka.
Martin said he’s hopeful about the outlook for Democrats around the country, highlighting races in Mississippi, Texas and Kansas among others where Democratic candidates could pull off upsets.

“I said this when I was here in Minnesota, ‘When you organize everywhere, you can win anywhere.’ That’s that motto has allowed us to expand the map into parts of this country that you know a decade ago people would have laughed if we were putting money into those places,” Martin said.
He also cautioned Democrats not to let up yet with more than a full day until polls close.
“I don’t want to be overly enthusiastic or overly optimistic. We've got work to do, and there's still 30 plus hours left to do this work. If we do it, it could be a historic night for the Democratic Party,” Martin said.
Democratic candidates and Republicans were set to wrap up the last day of their respective state bus tours on Monday evening.
