High pressure brings sunshine, cool temps, warmer weekend
It’s a cold start Friday with most temperatures in the 20s and 30s. Those readings are pretty close to normal, something that’s been elusive this fall. We’ll see afternoon highs in the 40s pretty much statewide, again right near normal for the date.

We should see the sun finally break out too. Brighter conditions should persist through the weekend with just some high clouds drifting through occasionally Saturday and Sunday.

It’ll be one more cold night Friday with lows dropping off into the 20s for most to near 30-degrees in the Twin Cities under clear skies.

Temperatures warm back above normal this weekend, mostly into the 50s and 40s.

Most of next week will continue to be dry with above-normal temperatures overall. Highs Monday could reach the low 60s in southern Minnesota before dipping back into the 50s midweek.
