Rain is on its way. Cooler air for the weekend ahead
Thursday will be briefly warmer ahead of the next cool front and disturbance that will develop much-needed rain showers later in the day. Cooler air returns for Friday and Saturday.
Seasonable sunny Wednesday. Rain in the forecast ahead
Expect sunshine and seasonal temperatures on Wednesday, with highs returning to the 40s and 50s across the state. The first of two cold fronts brought rain to northern Minnesota on Tuesday, and the next front on Thursday is expected to bring more widespread showers.
Roller coaster temperatures continue into next week
Cooler, near-normal temperatures are in place Wednesday but Thursday will be milder before cooling off for Friday. Thursday also brings a decent chance at light rain showers later in the day.
Roller coaster temps this week, but still above average
Fluctuating temperatures are anticipated this week as two cold fronts move through the region. Wednesday and Friday will be the only days in the forecast where temperatures return to seasonal values, with chances for precipitation accompanying both fronts.
Warm Tuesday; cool front drops temps Wednesday
We’ll have one last warm day across southern Minnesota ahead of a cool front. That front will touch off some showers for mainly northern Minnesota into Tuesday night. Wednesday will be cooler.
