Minnesota drought widens; report shows worst conditions this year
Thursday’s U.S. Drought Monitor report shows all categories of drought have expanded in the state, putting conditions at their worst so far this year with little in the way of significant precipitation in the forecast.

Temperatures will be much cooler behind a cold front Wednesday. It will be windy with lingering clouds east but sunshine west. Air quality will be unhealthy at times west.

It’ll be much cooler Wednesday and windy. Clouds will linger for much of eastern and central Minnesota. Air quality will be unhealthy at times in the western half of the state.

Temperatures will be much cooler behind a cold front Wednesday. It will be windy with lingering clouds east but sunshine west. Air quality will be unhealthy at times west.
Heat wave ending; showers, storms into late Tuesday
The heat wave ends Tuesday with the passage of a strong cold front. Showers and thunderstorms have been firing up. Some storms could be severe into Tuesday evening in eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
Heat advisories, air quality alerts, potential strong storms Tuesday
We’ll have one more hot day across eastern Minnesota with highs in the 90s as a heat advisory continues. Strong storms are possible late in the day ahead of a sharp cool front.
One more hot day Tuesday south with storms possible
Tuesday will be hot in southeast Minnesota with storms developing across central Minnesota. An air quality alert is posted for northwest Minnesota into early Wednesday. It will be cooler statewide Wednesday.
Unsettled weather and cooler temperatures on their way
