Man who shot school bus driver on Minneapolis interstate sentenced to 7 years
A judge sentenced a 32-year-old man to seven years for shooting and seriously wounding a school bus driver on a busy Minneapolis freeway. Kenneth Lilly pleaded guilty to first-degree assault. The only passenger on the bus, an 8-year-old girl, was not hit but continues to suffer psychological trauma.
Witnesses told police that a group of people were gathered at the residence when an unknown suspect opened fire from the front passenger seat of a silver Toyota Camry.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 a.m. at Saugus High School in the city of Santa Clarita, about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
