Thunderstorms intensified late Sunday afternoon over portions of central and eastern Minnesota. Several tornadoes touched down, including this one near Silver Lake, Minn., in McLeod county:

As of Sunday evening, the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center listed these four locations that had seen tornado touchdowns, as relayed by the Twin Cities office of the NWS:

Times listed are in Universal time, which is five hours ahead of Central Daylight Time. For instance, 20:40 in Universal time is 3:40 p.m. CDT.

There were also reports of tornado touchdowns near Foley and L.indstrom, Minn. late Sunday afternoon. The strong to severe thunderstorms shifted into parts of western Wisconsin Sunday evening.
The Twin Cities office of the National Weather Service indicated Sunday evening that they’ll be sending damage assessment teams to the Scandia and Silver Lake Minn. locations on Monday, as well as to Luck/Milltown in Wisc. and a location near Chetek Wisc.

Portions of southwestern Minnesota could see some strong to severe thunderstorms Sunday night.
A quiet and cool Monday
Drier air will spread across Minnesota on Monday, and we’ll see cool highs in the 70s:

Some spots in the far north may only reach the upper 60s.
Twin Cities metro area highs are projected to reach the upper 70s Tuesday, followed by lower 80s Wednesday and Thursday and mid 80s on Friday.
