Retired principals on how to have a successful school year

Ray Aponte and Mary Mackbee are two beloved former educators. They are also two of the longest-serving principals in the Twin Cities metro area.

Aponte spent 25 years as a principal in the Minneapolis Public Schools, and Mackbee was a principal at Central High School in St. Paul for 26 years. Both educators retired at the end of the 2018-2019 school year.

They joined host Angela Davis to talk about big issues in education, and what parents and teachers can do to make sure students have a successful year.
