What to expect when you’re expecting Trump
President Trump will be in downtown Minneapolis Thursday evening for a campaign rally at Target Center.
He and Mayor Jacob Frey have gone back and forth about the cost of the president’s visit and whether the campaign will pick up the tab. With extra security and other costs, the city estimates it will rack up a bill of more than $500,000.
This is all while the president is facing an impeachment inquiry in Congress — which he has said he will not cooperate with.
