It’s the end of a busy week that saw Democrats gain control of the White House — and Congress, with a slim majority. But as President Joe Biden signs a flurry of executive orders and members of his administration move into their new desks, the specter of an impeachment trial for former President Donald Trump still looms.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said Friday that the House will send its article of impeachment to the Senate on Monday, triggering a trial.
