Sarah Rafael García is the owner of the Libromobile, a writing, workshop and reading space on wheels based in Santa Ana, Calif.
Louise Erdrich is the owner of Birchbark Books in Minneapolis. Her latest novel, “The Sentence,” is set in a store that closely resembles Birchbark, which is haunted by the ghost of a customer that just won’t leave.
