Can running a 5K really change a life? Minneapolis-based organization Mile in My Shoes says yes.

They pair people experiencing homelessness and incarceration with experienced mentor runners to build connections and boost wellness.

Host Cathy Wurzer spoke with founder Mishka Vertin ahead of this Saturday’s race.
