Minnesota chef Justin Sutherland has 'Northern Soul'
Chef and restaurateur Justin Sutherland has been taking the cooking world by storm.
Maybe you’ve tried the ribs at Handsome Hog, his pork-centric restaurant in St. Paul. He also operates Obachan Noodles and Chicken, Chickpea Hummus Bar, The Gnome, Woodfire Cantina and Gray Duck Tavern.
This fall, he came out with a new cookbook that returns to his roots, “Northern Soul: Southern-Inspired Home Cooking from a Northern Kitchen.”
And, he’s been making a splash on television. He won an “Iron Chef America” battle, was in the top six chefs on Bravo’s “Top Chef” season 16 and currently hosts “Fast Foodies” on TruTV.
