Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting in south Minneapolis that left a man dead and six other people injured.
DFL State Rep. Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger and Republican Dwight Dorau are moving forward in a Woodbury state Senate race. The other special election, in District 29, pits Republican Michael Holmstrom against Democrat Louis McNutt after Tuesday’s primary. The GOP incumbent, Bruce Anderson, died last month.
