Minnesota’s largest school district is staring down a walkout in the new year. The Anoka-Hennepin teacher union says it has filed an intent to strike.

Canadian pipeline owner Enbridge is taking on a nearly $3 million enforcement agreement for piercing a groundwater aquifer while building the Line 3 oil pipeline in northern Minnesota back in 2022. The Department of Natural Resources says it has reached the deal with Enbridge over the aquifer breach near Moose Lake, which caused an uncontrolled flow of groundwater.
