Rebuild or relocate, tornado victims face tough decision
Nearly two weeks after the twister ripped through north Minnesota, many residents are struggling to find a place to live. The situation has left the city of Minneapolis and Hennepin County scrambling to help.

Audubon Minnesota is in its fifth year of research looking into how many birds are being killed by flying into buildings and what can be done to reduce the number. In the Twin Cities, Audubon Minnesota collected 1,400 dead birds from 2007 to 2009, representing 100 different species -- mostly songbirds.
The decision is the latest in a longstanding dispute between the city of Minneapolis and two pension funds -- the Minneapolis Police Relief Association and the Minneapolis Firefighters Relief Association. City leaders have complained the fund overpayments were straining city coffers.

Police are investigating several shootings that took place in downtown and south Minneapolis Sunday morning and early Monday morning. All six people who were shot were male and three were shot in the head.
