NPR distances itself from ‘founding mother’ Roberts

For the second time in a month, NPR is distancing itself from some of the pioneer reporters who built the news organization. NPR clarified that Cokie Roberts, who wrote an anti-Trump newspaper column, is not a full-time employee of the network and hasn't been for a long time. She's a commentator.

Here’s why you shouldn’t hate Daylight Saving Time

It was a lovely morning walk at my usual appointed time of 5:45 this morning. The eastern sky was orange. I almost don't need my headlamp anymore. On Monday, that all disappears because somewhere along the line we decided the conveniences of the afternoon people were far more important than those of the morning people.
