The unofficial last weekend of summer for Minnesotans will be picture perfect. Warm sun, a bright blue sky and pleasant temps will make for a spectacular finale for Fairgoers and weekend cabin warriors.
Speaking of the Fair, consider this as you stroll around munching your Sweet Matrha's. Weather records have been kept at the Fair for decades, and 2 of every 3 years feature at least one 90 degree day at the Fair. 90 appears out of reach this year, even though we've already had 25 days of 90 or better this summer, compared to our average of 13. With most of the 2.29" of rain coming at night, this year's Fair weather has been just that.
