Drier Days
We needed this.
Minnesota gets a welcome chance to dry out this week as high pressure dominates our weather this week. Welcome sunshine will be a benefit to farmers who are trying to get into soggy fields to complete the harvest, and for those of us looking for some sun to boost spirits!
So far in October, 17 of 21 days have seen at least a trace of rain. We normally see 55 percent of possible sunshine this month, but with only two really sunny days so far we've only enjoyed sun about 10 percent of the time! We'll see more sun this week, and who would have thought that we'd be looking forward to November which features 39 percent of possible sunshine on average.
