In Southern California it's a firestorm. When you start to see the smoke plume on Doppler radar, you know it's bad. Santa Ana winds gusted as high as 101 mph on Monday, and an 82 mph gust was recorded at Laguna Peak this morning. The winds will howl again today, before easing up a bit Wednesday.
