The neon facade of Mickey's Diner was the backdrop to one of the iconic photographs from this Republican convention. A police officer sits atop the dining car restaurant as tear gas billows out from canisters separating police from protesters on 7th Street.
Minnesota Public Radio's Tom Crann talked with dining car owner Melissa Mattson to find out more about that moment and others during an unusual week.
