A snowstorm adds to flooding woes

Rising Red
At 9 a.m. Tuesday, the Red River had risen to a height of more than 30 feet. The river is expected to crest Friday or Saturday at a height of 40 feet, possibly challenging the record flood mark of 40.1 feet set in 1897 and the 39.6 mark set by the historic 1997 flood.
