Fargo's mayor says a levee breach that devastated an elementary school early Sunday is a "wakeup call" that shows the threats the city will face for the next week.
Red River floodwaters crept under a permanent dike and flooded Oak Grove Lutheran School.
Mayor Dennis Walaker says "those things will continue to happen. I guarantee it."
The Red River appeared to crest Saturday lower than expected, but it remains at an all-time high and is putting pressure on miles of dikes protecting Fargo and neighboring Moorhead, Minn.
The National Weather Service says that the Predator drones used to watch flood patterns from the air have been a great tool in quickly responding to the flood.
