MNDOT traffic cam at Highway 169 and Old Shakopee Road is smudged with smoke from nearby brush fire this afternoon.
We saw this one coming.

As many as 30 states are under a Fire Weather Watch, including much of our region. Various other warnings such as a Red Flag Warning basically mean the combination of extremely low humidity and gusty winds and dry brush make for potential explosive fire growth this week.
