The Rose Ensemble is an acclaimed vocal group based in the Twin Cities that is mostly known for its arrangements of early classical music.

This weekend, a new documentary produced by Twin Cities Public Television will go behind the scenes and present the ensemble in perhaps a new light.

"The Rose Ensemble: Harmonies Across Time" will air on TPT in the Twin Cities and statewide beginning June 1, with rebroadcasts going into July.

Diane Steinbach is the executive producer for TPT's arts and culture programming. Jordan Sramek is the Rose Ensemble's founder and artistic director. They spoke with Classical Minnesota Public Radio's John Birge.
