I found out last night that my best friend's great aunt had passed away. She was "the most loving and genuine person," my friend said.
And that got me thinking perhaps we're asking the wrong question every year around this time. Instead of "what are you thankful for?," I'd like to know: Who you are thankful for?
And if you had known Auntie Millie, you'd be thankful for having the chance to know her.
