An Elko New Market man was sentenced Wednesday in federal court in St. Paul for diverting more than $300,000 from his employer for his personal use.
Nicholas Thull, 37, was sentenced to 18 months in prison on one count of mail fraud.
He pleaded guilty last September of defrauding Entegris, Inc., of Fridley, Minn. Thull had worked as an accountant for maker of semiconductors.
Prosecutors say over a three-year period Thull issued 46 company checks to himself, family members and other. He used the money to pay personal credit cards, insurance bills, and a student loan.
