Authorities say leads have slowed down in the investigation of a double homicide in northeastern Minnesota.
Carlton County Sheriff Kelly Lake says some leads are trickling in, but at a slower pace six weeks after Kim Schmitz and her boyfriend, Thomas Holm, were found shot to death in their home near Cromwell.
Holm's burned pickup truck was found the night before near Saginaw, about 35 miles away. Investigators found a partially-destroyed T-shirt in the truck's burned-out chassis. Lake says the shirt has not yielded any clues so far about a suspect.
The sheriff tells the Cloquet Pine Journal her department is still waiting for some lab results on evidence in the crime. A $10,000 reward is still on the table for information leading to an arrest.
