Legislator who lost legs in Iraq pleased by death of Bin Laden

THe state representative who lost both his legs in the Iraq War says he's pleased U.S. military forces killed Osama bin Laden.

John Kriesel, a Republican from Cottage Grove, said President Obama made the right decision by sending in elite Navy SEALs into Pakistan to kill Bin Laden. He said Obama's decision was was better than dropping a bomb on the compound and not knowing whether Bin Laden was killed.

"He did what was best for America," Kriesel said. "He wasn't worried about anything else except to make sure that we got the guy who killed thousands of our innocent men and women in the World Trade Center Towers."

Kriesel lost both of his legs to a roadside bomb in Iraq in 2006.
