Children play during the dedication of the Pelican Lake Waterfowl Production Area on Aug. 3, 2010, in Wright County. Conservation group Pheasants Forever acquired the land with money from the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment. The land currently has alfalfa but will soon be restored to grassland wildlife habitat.
